I love, love, love all the talk about getting students more involved with our nonprofits. Love it! We've had a lot of talk among Gould, Telstar, 4H Camp, and Mahoosuc Kids around getting the word out among the kids, so I think it's time to start talking about the possible opportunities for them to get involved in. For example, thinking back on the past year of my other gig at the Watershed Council, it would have been awesome to have a student help out with social media and otherwise documenting the Source to the Sea Trek, or possibly had them take part in our habitat survey or culvert inventory with the help of a teacher or parent. Let's use this forum to do some brainstorming! (If you need a refresher on how and why to use this forum,

Let's make this happen!

Agreed Jessie! I can always find something for teens to do to help the council and look forward to the opportunity to work with more Bethel Area youth.

Interesting. I have Google Alerts set up to track any mention of Bethel, ME and this thread appeared in my alert today. Didn't even know this forum existed!
